That’s crazy that Owleyes recommended a book by M.E. Warlick, she’s my grad school advisor! She’s helping me finish my masters in art history as we speak. Small world!
WOAAA! E.K.!!
that is so rad! You must have one hell of an art history master!
I loved her book, did you read it? Please tell her for me her book came to me at a turning point in my art process, right when i was getting to understand Ernst and his way of making some of his work. Her book really helped me connect the dots!
Please take a look at my site too, maybe pass it it along to Warlick!
Good luck with your masters!
Man JO, your friends & readers seem pretty magical! http://immortalmortal.com
I never got around to reading her book, but I took several classes with her including one on just Dada and Surrealism so I heard a lot about Ernst! I’m a die hard fan of his work, especially the collage books. He’s influenced my work quite a bit.
Oh Dorothea. I’m glad someone else cares!
Oh Dorothea. Max and Man Ray, now that’s a double wedding worth seeing!
