Norweigan fashion magazine VIXEN just did a feature on me for their current issue…out now…Jean-Paul Gaultier’s muse Omahyra Mota is on the cover and Sonia Rykiel is in it too!

They conjured up a fictional underwater tea party in the appliqued Chromium Dumb Belle universe with guests…Kaisik Wong (my love!) and Barbara Hulanicki, Merlin (of course), Gary Glitter and Alice Cooper eating Chromium Dumb Belle embroidered cakes…I would seat Kaisik and Merlin together for sure…. Barbara would be stoned to hell with her Sea Shades on….

My sweet friend Reeza came to visit me at the Xtabay vintage today and took these snapsssssss…..

Look at Liz’s tiny pearl carriage on my wrist in one of the pics….so dreamy….

Digging out old photos…The first was taken when i was 17….taken at some dance party in London i remember…The other one with the stuffed Lion, me around 8 yrs ago! so crazy…….i remember that 30s bracelet i used to have that i always wore with giant metal acorn charms dangling from it….i lost that in San Fransisco not so long ago….just remembered a stash more i’ll dig out later…

Well, since i stitched my Christmas away i didn’t take part in much of the festivities this year…i went to the ballet with my sweet friend Sasha and a walk down Peacock Lane with Dusty for the lights but that’s about as Christmassy or relaxing as it got….but here’s some December time snaps anyway…It was actually REALLY nice to work thru Christmas…i even spent NYEve in bed alone sewing, listening to my favorite music and it was so lovely….

Some snaps of us doing the green screen with Fiona for the CDB video….she looked so pretty moving in the marine snow while it really snowed outside….

Been so super sleepy n lazy this week and takin a little sewing break for a few days…so…now i can get back to building my seashell bed…yeaaaaaaaa…..

So here’s some of the new abyssal art wear pieces i’ve been workin on lately. Some pieces were worn by the Archeaon dancer in the little film i just made.  The set is all based around the Archeaon design which is Part One of the ‘20K Kisses Under The Sea’ story i’m working on at the minute.

My friend KK just sent me these such good pics of her all in gold with her golden Love Lion wearing the belt i made her a while back.. so amazingly beaaaauuuuuuutiful and old movie starish KK…..The belt has KK holding some flowers from my grandma’s garden and her loveheart Featherbeard embroidered into it…

My show at PGF on Saturday was so much fun…so glad so many people made it out. I have the best friends here in Portland that helped me with so many little jobs here n there….i’m so lucky….I kinda forgot to take any good pictures but heres some blurry crap ones anyway….

I’ll get photos of all my new pieces up this week…
