It was KK’s last day visiting Portland.. So we took her for a look round Candyland house…Jimmy was so sweet and drove us in his beautiful old black limousine…and we had our own private Miss KK fashion show upstairs in the fairy bathroom…A perfect place to go with those two…

The Marchesa Casati’s biographers Scot and Michael had mentioned recently that something really amazingly exciting was to be unveiled this year. Here it is. I am DYING to get my hands on this…..This is what i have always hoped and waited for but never thought would ever be made… Scot and Michael have really done an amazing job in getting La Casati’s name the recognition and interest she deserved. I remember when the book first came out and NOBODY knew who she was and now look at this! Amazing….Those two are brilliant and i am so excited for them and to read about all their new Casati discoveries…

50 million bubbles…
Im Back….and i have over 500 photos from my trip. April Rose took me to so many beautiful places on my first day and then there was the Alameda flea market day, my Billy Bowers date…my artwork at the Alphonse Berber Gallery…Kisses and byebyes to April, Lou, Julian, Sarah, Ben n Aykut and Erin and anyone else that i hung out with, i had so much fun…
i will have to do installments of my trip… since theres been no action here in a few days heres the most colourful….
Sarah drove us to Sonoma County where all the beautiful vineyards are. We went to Korbel, the oldest champagne makers in the US. We were supposed to just take a quick cheap champagne tasting thing before we went off to the Russian River but we made a new friend of Korbel Dave who spotted us and the giant roses and ended up taking us thru the pretty grounds and tasting where we tried such beaaaaautiful champagnes and sherry with his very special commentary. We tried Obama’s Inauguration Champers even and he took most of these photos for us.
Then we went to the Russian River close by and got laughed at by a bunch of hicks that run a bizarre camping spot that looked like somethin straight out of a horror but the pub had real fish and chips just like from home….We ditched the hick site and found a new pretty river spot in the end where we tried in vain to open one of our bottles of champagne with a bobby pin, a stone, a necklace and an an earring….we contemplated just cracking the neck off on a rock too.
we recommend the Korbel Moscato Frizzanti and their Cream Sherry btw….yeah! lovely day…
