Pearly Cakes Of Heaven
If the art wear/embroidery ever drives me too insane i’ll just lock myself away in my grotto among pots of pearly beads and sugar glitter pots, swags and latices and tubes of curly wurly icing, disfigured plastic figurines, ruffles and pleated ribbons and just build mountains of the sickest, gaudiest puke fantasy, topsy turvy monstrosities…first cake make would be the biography of King Ludwig of Bavaria, his life and death illustrated in neon icings…then..an entire marzipan replica of Marie Antoinettes trousseau…..Castiglione’s Queen of Hearts gown made entirely of sugar paper and hand embroidered with the heaviest metallic sugar balls….a carved chocolate figurine of Garbi in his gondola, The Death of Sardanapalus painted with ugliest colourings on a huge sugared panel, chocolate fantasy guitars with petal picks….and then when our rumbly old van totally konks out once and for all i’ll just build Dusty a Flintstones style cab cake for gettin about….
