Trying to sort thru all my files of old work and sketches and came across these oldies….feels like ages ago since i made these pieces…..

Norweigan fashion magazine VIXEN just did a feature on me for their current issue…out now…Jean-Paul Gaultier’s muse Omahyra Mota is on the cover and Sonia Rykiel is in it too!

They conjured up a fictional underwater tea party in the appliqued Chromium Dumb Belle universe with guests…Kaisik Wong (my love!) and Barbara Hulanicki, Merlin (of course), Gary Glitter and Alice Cooper eating Chromium Dumb Belle embroidered cakes…I would seat Kaisik and Merlin together for sure…. Barbara would be stoned to hell with her Sea Shades on….

Our friends new band Dangerous Boys Club last night…so good….

My show at PGF on Saturday was so much fun…so glad so many people made it out. I have the best friends here in Portland that helped me with so many little jobs here n there….i’m so lucky….I kinda forgot to take any good pictures but heres some blurry crap ones anyway….

I just made this short little film of an Archeaon dancer as part of my ongoing project of work- 20,000 Kisses Under The Sea. My sweet friend Dan Kim helped me do it, he’s so clever….and Fiona Petra of Lost Lockets was the Archeaon dancer….I only had about a day to design it all so it’s not as elaborate as i would have liked…but i still think its very pretty…..Dan and Fiona are the best…

I have tons of new work that go alongside this, will post here later today, i’ll explain it all better then…..

Finally! All the new Chromium Dumb Belle pieces are ready!!! and on the 2nd of January I will be holding a little ‘20,000 Kisses Under The Sea’ themed party with all the new stuff on display…….Everything will be available to buy on the night and there will be tons of pictures and info on how to get hold of a piece if you can’t attend. I’m working on a little gallery set up online…I am so excited to show everyone, i have been so secretive these last months and these pieces are probably my most favorite and special pieces i ever worked on so far….X

The lovers agreed to take their tryst at dawn. Descending beyond the abyssal plains towards the trenches of the ocean. Here, among unevolved life-forms their lungs remember what it was like to breathe liquid and the blackened edges of their hearts fall away, eaten by creatures of this Godless underworld.

Whips dance on pearly tightropes and crowns hang ever upward while the many optical designs of an Archeaon Ballet help them forget the sunlit world above. They soon find themselves atop chimneys of even blacker smoke, stalked by the weirdest of this world. Threads, ribbons, soft capes and silent Lords reign mineral monuments.

At last on elegant tip-toe they wander through the prehistoric ruins of a bioluminescent disco, its Radiolarian mosaic dancefloor suspended in dark space some billions of years before. They dance to the sound of the Drum Of The Underworld, which is eternal…

Love is found at the bottom of the Sea…..
